Ways To Fail In Life!
Posted on April 26th, 2009 21 commentsI was just thinking today about success and happiness. We have so much research on success today it’s unbelievable. Yet, so many people never ever use any of it.
Most people live as if they set out to have a life of failure.
So I had the idea of giving some steps to Failure.
Guaranteed Ways To Fail In Life!
- 1. Never expect much from yourself or life. Just go with the flow and take life as it comes.
- 2. Always blame other people for all your troubles. Others should make you happy by supplying your needs.
- 3. Never educate yourself to new ways to approach success.
- 4. Don’t work hard for what you need and want in your life. You’ll find the silver bullet one day.
- 5. Always neglect your loved ones.
- 6. Never build lasting relationships. You don’t need other people in your life.
- 7. Never plan for tomorrow. Goals and dreams are overly rated anyway.
- 8. Never ask for help. Why should you? You’re not doing much to need it.
- 9. Never take much Action. You need all your energy to do nothing.
- 10. Never ever try to be happy, even when you don’t feel like it.
- 11. Always complain about how bad you have it and how life is not fair.
If you can think of one or two please add it to the list.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Some of the reasons most people never succeed are:
1) Failure is easier than success and most people are lazy.
2) Not everyone uses the same definition of success. My success can be seen by you as failure.
We all need to succeed by our own definition.

Great reminder. The majority of the world is stuck in this modality. Better for the rest of us.

A very unique perspective for taking on this subject. Most of the time it’s easier to think you want to succeed rather than doing the hard work of actually succeeding!
Excellent reminder of what the opposite of success looks like.

Hey Lynn,
Great post! Some people find it hard to define success for themselves but know what they don’t want in life
And doing that kind of exercise can help to clarify your thinking
Thanks

THis is a great list of activities we should actively avoid! If we find that we habitually engage in any of these behaviors, we should immediately correct ourselves.

Success differs from people to people. But group think is a big influence here.
It’s hard to be 100% honest what we REALLY want in life personally. Big discrepancy in What we think & what we do.

what a great list. I’d almost write it down to remind myself what to avoid and catch myself on (who hasn’t done one or two of those things SOMETIMES?) except I know that that upon which we let our mind dwell is what we focus our loves upon.
Excellent reminders!
