Wall of Fame
Posted on May 6th, 2009 17 commentsWall of Fame.
Hello,
Hope you enjoy your day.
This post will be short, but I hope it helps you think for a moment.
As some of you know Zig Ziglar was a big influence on my life years ago and remains an influence today.
Zig has a wall in his house with all his heroes. The wall has photos of all the people who had the greatest impact on his life and career. He has no problem giving credit to those people.
Take a moment and think about the people you would have on your wall of fame.
List a few.
After May, I think, I must put all of you on it.
Dare to be Great!

What a grand idea. Most people I know have an “I Love Me” wall, but not a Wall of Fame & Success.

What a brilliant idea. I have pictures of “imaginary mentors” by my computer but I never thought of it as a wall of fame.
All the best,

Excellent idea. I’ve always had the imaginary composite of my heroes. Good to see someone else with Patton on the list. From him I learned to never stop short, which I try to put into practice every day.

Great suggestion, Lynn. I can think of several people who have had a tremendous influence on me. Now I need to get some pictures of them!

Hi Lynn,
Like you Zig has played a major part in my earlier years with his books and tapes and the wall of hero’s is just a superb way of keeping your inspiring people around you

That’s a great idea!
I have many of those pictures in my office, but not all of them.
I also have a picture of one of my heros, which I find inspirational.
It’s a great idea to have these positive associations bombarding your unconscious.

As someone mentioned earlier in the course, we will all miss each other when it’s over. by commenting to eachother every day, you start to feel like personal friends then 18-20 friendships all seem to vanish in a day. It’s sad. So I agree, I’d like to have you all on my wall of fame as well.

There are so many people that are inspiring in so many different ways. The Dalai Lama would be so much different than say Lance Armstrong or one of your favorate teachers or coaches growing up but would have equal value. I’ll have to think about who inspires and has inspired me. For now I will agree with Lisa and say I am getting much inspiration from all of you.

Great exercise! With Mother’s Day this Sunday, I know who I would put high on my list!

I would need an enormous wall. Having been homeless twice in my life i can tell you there were a ton of people that helped me along the way to the success i am today. I don’t have a picture of most that helped me but their faces are as clear in my mind as any photo.
