I'm with Lisa on this one. Indeed, it is most interesting because I was just thinking about how when I have had a loss event and simply stop interacting with unsupportive people in my immediate grief I absolutely have to out of self-preservation, I have only let back in those who were supportive but perhaps lived further away. I just recently purged some toxic people from my life. it was very painful. as much as i loved them and tried to help them, they were only concerned with themselves and didn't care if they dragged me down with them. i miss them but have way less anxiety now that they are gone.
