Success Training and Faith.
Posted on May 22nd, 2009 16 commentsI read a proverb once that said, have faith, but row for shore. Now think about this proverb. If you are out in the ocean in a row boat with one paddle and you see shore, it would be fantastic to have faith that you will get there. Having said that, you can’t just sit and hope for things to happen you must move.

Nothing ever happens without action and effort toward the results.
So many people have faith, but never put any work or effort behind it. Make the choice today to keep the faith and take the action needed to keep you in that forward motion.
Then you will find yourself at the shore of your life’s dreams and goals.
Enjoy the Journey.

If you are having a tough time taking an action, try breaking that action into 3 pieces.
Do the first one NOW.
Schedule the second one for later today, and Schedule the third one for tomorrow.Seize the Day,

Taking almost any action is better than none – there is shore in every direction. It may not be the best choice, but you will make progress.

Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition. God gives us the power to act and the free will but we need to make it happen.

Sometimes we have to take some kind of action, even if we are uncertain. That being said, sometimes doing nothing (which is an action)is the best action, but that is usually not the case.

I like this Lynn.
Believe in yourself – and any higher power, if that’s what you choose – and take action.
Both parts are necessary.
Cool stuff.

Indeed, believing in yourself means you BELIEVE (faith) you can ROW (action) to shore.
Faith combined with Action = Super Powerful!

Everything dynamic and very positively!

Have a nice day -
Faith combined with action (almost) always lead to better results than either of them separately. Thank you for the boost of motivation.
All the best,

Great post Lynn! When I get stuck, I try to remember that it’s impossible to steer a parked car! Sometimes the hardest part is the first step – breaking the inertia. Once the snowball is rolling, most likely it will pick up steam.

Hi Lynn,
Yes the downfall of all that ’secret’ crap was the fact they said ‘think’ but for some stupid reason left out the fact you have to actually ‘do’ something for it to happen!!

Did you have this little girls picture somewhere else, because I know I’ve seen it but there’s no comment here from me. Anyway, It sounds like the Secret – having faith but not taking action. I agree – you have to row for shore!
