We would wither up and die without them. I did the lone wolf thing for a short period of time to “find” myself. Although the periods of retreat are beneficial we usually come out of them realizing just how important our relationships are.

Great post! I had a lot of trouble accepting help from people. It just felt impolite to say yes. I always said no thank you even when I needed the help desperately.

One of my closest friends is one of my very first friends. We were so young when we met (4 or 5 yrs old) that we can’t even remember meeting. Our relationship is very special.
