  • Law of Least Resistance

Posted on February 1st, 2011 R. Lynn Lane 1 comment

Buddha said it best…”All unhappiness comes from attachment”

So much energy is wasted on being attached to so many things in life.

The Law of Least Resistance means to do less and accomplish more. The power of water and electricity follow this law and so can we.

Acceptance = Accept things today as they occur.

Responsibility = Take responsibility for who and what you are. Don’t blame others or yourself. This will allow yourself to have a more creative response to situations and events in your life.

Defenselessness = Give up the deep need to be right all the time. Relinquish the need to argue your point and to convince others that they should see it all your way.

These three things will create more energy in your life! Apply the Law of Least Effort and notice the difference.

    Till Next Time!

  • Christmas Parade & Success

Posted on December 3rd, 2010 R. Lynn Lane 2 comments
This story is from my e-book “Never Ending You”
It is a great story with a great take away!
    Enjoy!
Be a warrior of your life! The Warrior of Life will always take
action. If they make mistakes they learn and go forward again. In the end it’s not
what you plan or intend, it’s what you do that will create results. Always
take action in the direction you wish to go. Failure is never the final result,
only a tool to help refine your approach.
I was eating breakfast one morning in a local restaurant where I often go not
just for the food, but for the conversation with the regulars and
    the wait staff.
    A Christmas Parade

This Saturday morning, like most Saturday mornings, I had my little
threeyear-old nephew with me. I love to watch him learn new things and to see
what new ideas and words he comes up with. He always gets the
attention from the waitresses and they tell him how handsom he is.
One of the waitresses told me a story about her granddaughter. She
had plans to go see the Christmas Parade in town and thought she would take
her little five-year-old granddaughter. They both joined the rest of the large crowd and
stood waiting for the parade to come by.
Just as expected, right on time they could see down the street that
the parade was on the way. As the people on the floats passed by they would
wave and the little girl would wave back with a big smile on her face. The
grandmother was enjoying the parade as well and was really focused on all the
different floats. As she turned her head to look at the next float see notice
a familiar face waving to the crowd, it was her little granddaughter.
The grandmother ran out to the parade float and got the little girl
off and was relieved she was alright. The family laughs about that story still
    to this day.
Seems the little girl wanted to be in the parade and join the fun
and not just stand there and let it pass her by.
Are you going to stand and watch the parade of life pass you by or
are you going to jump in and enjoy the ride?
Remember that you are in charge of your life. You have the awesome
power to change things in your life. It’s up to you. It’s your
responsibility to create the life you want and need. Make your mind up that you are not
going to be the common person that never knows victory or defeat because they
just don’t want to work hard at life.

I love what Theodore Roosevelt had to say about being common.
I recite his words often. “I choose not to be a common man. It’s my
right to be uncommon if I can. I seek opportunity not security. I do not
wish to be a keep citizen, humbled and dulled and let the state take care of me.
I want to take the calculated risk, to dream and build, to fail and succeed.
I refuse to live from hand to mouth. I prefer the challenges of life to the
guaranteed existence, the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia. I
will never bow to any master or bend to any threat. It’s my heritage to stay
erect, proud and unafraid, to think and act for myself and to face this world boldly
and say, this I have done.”

    Have a wonderful day!

I love to watch Darren Brown influence and persuade people to change their minds with the NLP and Milton Erickson approach.

  • Success and Wealth

    Success and Wealthmoney_stack

Ken Fisher, Author of The Ten Roads to Riches says, “This is a perfect time to say, I am going to start my own business.”

We know some ways to have wealth -

    • 1- Marry into a wealthy family.
    • 2- Make sure your parents are wealthy.
    • 3- Lottery
    • 4- Become a big celebrity.
    • 5- Steal it.

Research shows that your odds are better for creating wealth if you start your own business. Fisher agrees that one of the best ways to find your road to riches is to create your own wealth by founding your own company.

Then you need hard work, reinvesting and taking care of your customers.

Find the people that have gone before you and created wealth. Learn from their mistakes and their success too. I think it was Jim Rohn who said, “Find what the rich people do and do that.”

    Build you Empire!

    Have a Great Day!
