Reborn For Success In The New Year!
Posted on December 19th, 2009 3 commentsReborn For Success In The New Year!

As we see the end of a new year let’s take a moment to look back and reflect over the past 12 months.
Was the past 12 months a busy time for you? Was the past 12 months rewarding or was it a tough time for you in your business? Did you keep your job?
Did you have some health issues in your family as I did? Did you lose any faith or trust for the government and the Whitehouse?
I only hope that the past year was very good to you and I also hope that you will create and achieve massive success in the next 12 months.
The great thing about a New Year is that we can all look at the New Year as fresh and have excitement for the New Year. A new year marks a new beginning for dreams and goals.
Friends Gone.
As I reflect I think about the people and old friends that died over the last 12 months. We lost a great man and a pioneer in the Personal Development Field, Mr. Jim Rohn. Jim Rohn’s work and words helped so many people find massive success in their own business and in their lives. I lost some friends that I’ve known for years and years in the past few months.
If we live long enough we will see our friends leave us as time goes by. That is only a fact of life that we must deal with.
I’ve heard people say that we should live like we were dying. And I’ve had people ask; what would you do if you only had 6 months to live? All good things to ponder on and reflect about… it may make you a better person. It may help you to think about some of the things you didn’t do or the things you need to do.
I’m sure it was Mark Twain who said; we regret all the things we didn’t do more that the things we did.
Now, I like to ask the people I coach and mentor this question. What would you do if you knew you had a new life, a new beginning and a clean slate to create the life you want and deserve?
You have that new day today if you choose! No need for regret! No need to think about all the things that you’re not doing.
Start today to think about all the things you plan to do starting in the New Year. Forget all the things you tried to do or the things you intended to do in the past and make plans for your NEW LIFE!
Most important.
Inertia is the best way to live a life of regret. You must take ACTION on all you ideas, intentions and goals to continue to move forward. Find that person that will hold you accountable and keep you on task. Those people (Mastermind Group) that will help guarantee you to create that massive success and find your true greatness for years to come.
Happy New Year!!!
Let’s meet 12 months from now and reflect again on the things we made happen…without regret!

Think For Success
Posted on November 24th, 2009 10 commentsOver the years I’ve read some amazing books by some very amazing people. I look at my life at times and take notice of the habits I’ve picked up because of the positive influence they had on me.
I implemented a habit years ago when I was young but I didn’t know the power of it until I read Brian Tracy and later John Maxwell.
The habit is to find some down time to think. I’ve always done this from the time I was a kid. When I was very young I would go to the woods and wonder around and stand in the stillness. But the thinking wasn’t organized the way it is today. Well….most of the time.
Your place to think never has to be ordinary.

Some successful people I know get comfortable in a dark room and just think and wait for an answer to a question they are thinking about.
You can also find other very successful people that do their best thinking in a small crowd of people like a coffee shop or restaurant. J. K. Rowling,, author of the “Harry Potter” books did some of her best work in a cafe’ and coffee shop. Some people need to have that little distraction to stimulate the thinking process.
It may not be important where your thinking place is as long as you get to really think.
Thanks.

Create Your Greatness
Posted on November 15th, 2009 7 commentsBreaking the Cycle.
From early childhood to adulthood we are trained and conditioned to think, act and believe certain things about life and the way we should live it.
We may not be complete conditioned response creatures…..(Pavlov’s Dogs), but we do tend to fall back on the conditioned response from the past for example, Learned Helplessness.
So many people never become aware that this has happened. The moment you are aware is the moment you begin to create your true self.
Look around and you will see many people that are living the same broken existence of past generations because they have been conditioned to do so.
A life without:
*Education
*Goals
*Career
*Responsibility
*Accountability
*Discipline
*Direction
*Respect
“The tragedy of the War on Poverty is not that its measures have been too small to reduce the proportion of the population living under the poverty level today to anything less than it was in 1968.
The tragedy is the multitude of able people who became welfare recipients every year when they would have found their way out of the poverty trap in the absence of these programs.
Social programs may supply some important benefits to the genuinely helpless. But the inevitable irony of government transfers to the poor is that they induce other people to qualify for them — people who could work for a decent living, but choose idleness and a welfare check instead.
More tragic still are the children of welfare families whose role models are parents who can’t or won’t hold a job or who have given up trying. Not only do these children fail to learn the importance of work and self-reliance, but the value of education — already hard for a child to appreciate — becomes incomprehensible to them.
Not surprisingly, this results in poorer attendance, more frequent classroom disruptions, higher dropout rates, lower literacy and overall competence levels, and higher juvenile crime rates.
Many children of school age in our inner cities now are third-generation welfare recipients. “
*Note that statement was written by David Beer a doctoral student in economics at George Mason University in 1989. Full Article.
Once you become aware of the people and things around you that condition you, now you have the key to unlock those shackles and free yourself to discover your greatness.
Learn to embrace the challenge of change and the challenge to create greatness in your life by conditioning your own mind and body with your own choices and decisions.
Be the first in your family to finish college, start and build a million dollar company, become a leader in your community or influence others yet unborn to follow your example of greatness.
Leave that legacy behind for others to follow.
Gratitude-
I am so thankful for the positive friends, family and mentors that showed up in my life at age 24-25 and for all the ones that continue to show up today because I seek them out.

Your A-Team & Success
Posted on November 5th, 2009 6 commentsDo you have your A-Team together?
Why you need an A-Team?
Your A-Team will help you improve your efforts and effectiveness toward your goals, time management, personal development and success in general.
Taking your A-Game and building your A-Team will help you in many ways. The benefits are tremendous.
- 1. You will free up so much time and make more decisions quickly.
- 2. You’ll streamline your days and feel unstoppable.
- 3. You will create that life of less stress and more peace of mind.
- 4. You will create that high energy life style that you need in this busy world.
- 5. You will learn, stretch, grow and contribute more in your life.
- 6. You will begin to grow your business or career to the next level.
- 7. You will enjoy your life at a much higher level.
Like most things the start will be the hardest part of building your A-Team. When you take a quick look around at your life you will see that you already have some of your A-Team in place.
The key will be to have people on your A-Team that you have rapport with and that you can trust. The people you place on the A-Team will be key people and will help you successfully reaching many of your goals.
When you have key people that you can count on to exchange ideas, plans and money your A-Team will start to give you many benefits. The Law of Reciprocation in action.
Who should be on your A-Team?
Here is a list of key people that you need to have on your A-Team in no particular order.
- Mastermind Team -> This group of people will be critical to your A-Team.
- Doctors -> That you can count on.
- Lawyer -> That you can count on.
- Spouse -> Get this person on your team and you’re 90% successful.
- Mentors -> You will need to seek out the people that have the knowledge.
- Spiritual -> Teacher, Leader or Group that works for you.
- Physical -> Get people that like to be healthy on your A-Team.
- Co-workers/Employees
- Education -> Add people that will challenge you to grow and to think.
- Friends /Family -> No need to say much here…right?
- Mechanic -> Yes….the mechanic that you count on.
- Restaurants -> Why not? I have restaurants on my A-Team that treat me great.
Think about building your A-Team and the people you need on it. If you have a person on your A-Team that is not effective or efficient replace them now.
