Brian Tracy – Impatience

I posted a blog a few weeks back about impatience. I used the example of how some karate students are always in a hurry to earn their black belt.
Well…here is Brian Tracy, a true mentor of mine. He does a wonderful job on this video about impatience.

I am glad right now with the impatience of Dr Hogan in this course so we are able to learn and achieve so fast. I agree there is a good time to be impatience and a bad.

Hi Lynn,
Oh I was glad to hear Brian be non judgmental about impatience, that it is neither good nor bad. Indeed, in our early evolutionary section of our brain we only know NOW or NEVER. Hence so much of our impatience.
And I really admired how Brian pointed out that part of our concern for wanting something soon is because with an extended pursuit of a goal (or relationship), the longer we take, the greater the risk that we will actually never GET what it is that we want.
Ahhh, but we can learn along the way, can we not, Oh Warrior of Success!
